Pelvic Floor Therapy is an INTEGRAL part of Endometriosis Care

A systematic review from 2022 found significant clinical improvements in pain intensity and physical function following pelvic floor therapy. 

As pelvic floor therapists, we have an important role to play in caring for our patients with endometriosis. People with endometriosis are often incredibly underserved by the medical community. It takes an average of 6-12 years for individuals with endometriosis-symptoms to get an accurate diagnosis! 

Remember, a hysterectomy does not cure endometriosis. A multi-disciplinary approach is important for long-term health.
