Find Lasting Relief

Our pelvic health experts will help get to the ROOT of your pelvic pain, low back/sciatica pain, hip pain, tailbone pain, sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence, and bowel conditions.

The Renew Health team specializes in everything pelvic floor, pregnancy and postpartum.

We bridge the gap between orthopedic and pelvic health by treating the entire person.

pelvic floor exercise

I began seeing Dr. Alyssa in my first trimester of my first pregnancy for birth preparation. My OBGYN stated she typically (and sparingly) recommended this service for after delivery. I am so glad I chose to go out of network and be proactive. Due to the preparation and techniques that were provided prenatally, I had minimal perineal tearing (grade 1) despite pushing for 5 hours.

We Provide "Whole Body, Holistic Care"

Our experienced team of pelvic health experts understands that true wellness extends beyond specific symptoms. We integrate pelvic health care into a broader framework that considers the interconnectedness of the entire body.

I have had endometriosis for virtually my entire life. It’s been a rough and extremely painful journey, and I’ve had so many doctors dismiss me or try to force a plan of care without explaining thoroughly or addressing my concerns. Dr. Alyssa thoroughly explained every step of my healthcare journey and what symptoms my care was targeting for each visit. I have made more progress in the 10 weeks I’ve spent with Alyssa than I have made with any doctor over the last 13 years other than my excision surgeon.

The Renew Health Method

Length

In this step, we will focus on restoring range of motion of the spine, hips, and pelvic floor. We will teach you the importance of your breath, how it relates to pelvic health, and how to use your breath to influence pelvic floor movement.

Strength

We are not content with short-term relief. Once we alleviate symptoms, we will create a custom plan to address strength deficits and movement pattern deficiencies. We will get you back to what you love and stronger than before.

Function

In this stage, we'll help you achieve your peak performance. We are focusing on FUNCTION and getting you back to what you love doing whether that be CrossFit, running, or playing with the kids! This involves ongoing training and support to maintain optimal pelvic health and performance over time.

The Renew Health Difference

10 Reasons to Choose Renew Health For Your Pelvic Health Care

1. You Deserve a True Specialist

Pelvic health concerns are complex and require specialized care. We exclusively focus on this field, ensuring that you receive care from professionals who are fully committed to pelvic health. You will work with a specialist who provides performance-based functional training, and never a PT who “sometimes” does pelvic health or has limited training.

2. You'll Never Tossed Around to an Aide

You will always work 1:1 with a pelvic floor PT for 90-min evaluations and 60-minute treatments. You will always be seen for your entire session time, never tossed to an aide, and never double-booked. We want you to get the most of out of your time with us.

3. You'll Work With the Same Therapist Each Time

You will work with the same Doctor of pelvic floor physical therapy each and every time you come into our office. Our focus is building a relationship with you and providing you with a clinician you can trust. No more telling your story over and over to new clinicians you don’t understand you, your goals, or your needs.

4. Uncover the Root Cause

Learn the ‘why’ behind your pelvic floor symptoms. When we identify the source of your symptoms, we will give you the tools you need to: create sustainable relief, improve function of your pelvic floor and your entire musculoskeletal system, and prevent your symptoms from returning.

5. You Need More Than Kegels

Kegels in isolation are not the answer. The pelvic floor is part of a complex system.

6. You'll Never Be Hooked up to a Machine

We believe in a combination of highly skilled manual therapy and functional-based training. You will never be hooked up to a biofeedback machine week after week hoping this solves your problem.

7. Facility Designed For Pelvic Health

We offer a safe, quiet, and welcoming environment. You will have direct access to treatment rooms without walking through a busy gym. Our treatment rooms are furnished with you in mind. Everything from heated table warmers, fresh blankets, sound machines, and salt lamps are provided to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

8. We Provide Clinical Honesty

We give our patients clarity on how to get better with a specific plan of care. The frequency of visits are not based upon how busy the practitioners are.

9. Speak With an Actual Human

With our model, you have access to the doctors at Renew Health and this begins with a 15-minute phone call. Our providers want to listen to you and your story before meeting you in person and we want you to get to know us.

10. Therapists That Have Your Back

We take pride in quarterbacking your care. Pelvic health issues can be complex and we want to make sure that we are active participants in your care team.

I am so very grateful for Renew Health and Dr. Alyssa!! After years of absolutely debilitating period pain, I can happily say that I no longer need to reach for pain medicine while on my cycle (I never thought I'd say that). Not only that, but I no longer experience the chronic back, shoulder, and neck pain that I had grown so accustomed to. I started pelvic floor therapy for a few issues, only for it to solve even more issues I had no idea were related! Dr. Alyssa is a delight to work with, I have never met a doctor that genuinely cares so so much about the comfort, whole health, and wellbeing of their patients. I can't recommend this practice enough.

- BR

I was in pain for years. I had terrible stomach and back pain. I went to so many doctors and they all told me it was nothing and kept shrugging me off. When I tell you how much better I felt just from my phone call with Dr. Alyssa. I had never felt so seen, she validated all my concerns and scheduled me an appointment very quickly. After that first session the absolute relief I felt was amazing. I lived in constant pain for so long I forgot what it was like to feel normal. I was also able to use the bathroom regularly, use a tampon again, and live my life again.

Don't just take our word for it...

"Brianna was amazing! I became discouraged after having a second C-section and the healing process; not being able to exercise without pain after the “6 week clearance” from the OBGYN. She helped me understand pelvic floor function and why I was having issues. She helped resolve all my postpartum issues and I even started slowly running without incisional pain after 7 sessions (over a 2-3 month span). Thank you so much Brianna!"

- DC

"I can't say enough good things about Alyssa. I am a 62 year old woman and she gave me so much help with my issues and was so knowledgeable and helpful with things that are usually so hard to discuss. Both Alyssa and Brianna made me feel so comfortable and at ease that I felt I could discuss anything with them. I can't say enough good things about these 2 ladies and would advise any woman to contact them for any pelvic floor issues."

- MR

"My initial assessment with Brianna set me immediately at ease. For anyone, like me, who may feel uncomfortable discussing their concerns and worried about what is involved - just do it, you won't regret it! She knows her anatomy, function and sees patients in a holistic manner ensuring you are comfortable every step of the way without any pressure to do what you aren't comfortable with. Highly recommend without any hesitation."
